Character Design

If you've been following my blog (which is like what, 2 people, maybe) then you will know that I mentioned that I wanted to start making a graphic novel. I've been using this character - Bad Luck Becky (name subject to change). Anyways, I thought that maybe she was a little too old, so I'm "younging" her up a bit. Before, she was at least 16, because she had a car, but I thought the story would work better to be more in the 12-14 year old range. So, here is my attempt (after many not shown) on said character. Let me know your input. Better? Worse?

Whoops. Forgot to mention this is a pencil drawing, scanned, then colored in Photoshop. Enjoy.

I think the 16 year old one would fit better in what your trying to do with her. But its your comic, so what ever floats your boat works for me. :)

Thanks guys.

@Spencer - I'm deciding to make her young because I don't know anything about the teenage female mind, so I think I'd have a hard time writing it. Little girls brains are princesses and ponies, so It might be easier.
There's going to be a moral to the story, so I think it's better to teach kids then it is to teach teenagers. (You should know, HAHA!)
