Up To Lately...
Here is a little peek at what I've been up to lately. I finished Pest Control issue 2 around April of this year, and premiered it at Denver Comic Con 2014. I then just finished "The Incredible Flying Jellybean" issue 1 in July and I will be premiering that this week at Salt Lake Comic Con. I've finished sketching out issue 2 of "TIFJ" and am in the coloring process.
Sorry for not posting a whole lot. I've been busy with a graphic novel for a publisher that I can't talk about yet. I've been working on it for about 3 years on and off. It's taken a while because the publisher was really awesome and let me juggle other work when it came, and they were really accommodating. But, I just turned in the final files and it is now in the hands of the letterer.
So, I've been working on client work and my personal work as much as I can.

The Incredible Flying Jellybean! Issue #1!
5 months since my last post?! Yikes. I'm so sorry. Been doing a lot of freelance work of stuff that I can't show to anyone. That's just how it works sometimes.
But, fear not, for I bring you glad tidings. I've been working on my personal projects in between client work.
I've been writing, sketching, and finishing my latest story called
The Incredible Flying Jellybean
Here is the cover for issue #1 called "First Flight". Enjoy and stay tuned for more. Hopefully I can remember to post more than every 5-6 months. haha

Comic Creators for Freedom
Hey everyone, I'm participating in the Comic Creators for Freedom Project, a project to help end human trafficking. This year's participants are drawing "Awkward School Photos" of their creator-owned comic characters. So, I decided to do a school photo of Trigger from my mini-comic, Pest Control. If you're a comic creator and have your own characters, please participate! Click HERE for details.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of then and now:

Sneak Peek!
You guys want a sneak peek of Pest Control issue #2? Of course you do.
Here's a rough sketch of page one. Things seem to be looking pretty good for Conrad and Trigger's pest control business, but fame is a fickle mistress . What's going to become of our heroes? Stay tuned for more!

I Drew a Girl
Wow. Haven't posted anything in a LONG time! Sorry about that. To make up for it, here is a drawing of some girls. I don't draw girls much. I should do it more often. As you can see, I need the practice.
